1. Identification and Check‑in / Check‑out

• Upon check‑in, the guest must present:

  • The same card used for payment.

  • A valid government‑issued ID: INE for Mexican nationals; passport or residency permit for foreigners.

• Hours

  • Check‑in: from 3:00 PM

  • Check‑out: before 12:00 PM

• Deposits and Guarantees

  • An authorization hold will be placed to guarantee the reservation.

  • If the hold is declined, our team will contact you for an alternative payment method; if the guest cannot be reached, the reservation will be canceled.

2. Occupancy and Family Policy

• Maximum occupancy of each room or suite varies by room type.

• Children 0–12 years: special rates apply; maximum age considered as a child is 12 years.

• Children’s Identification:

  • Mexicans: CURP or birth certificate.

  • Foreigners: passport.

  • Unaccompanied minors or minors traveling with third parties: notarized permission from both parents specifying stay dates and full personal details.

  • Without complete documentation, check‑in will not be processed.

3. Payment Methods and Deposits

• Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

• Prepayment is recommended to secure the rate.

• The cardholder must be present at arrival and show the original card.

4. Smoking Policy

• Sunset Plaza is 100 % smoke‑free in rooms and common areas (lobby, restaurants, spa, hallways, etc.).

• Designated smoking areas are available.

• A USD 250 cleaning and reconditioning fee will be charged for smoking in non‑designated areas.

5. Kids Club and Included Services

• The Kids Club includes access to the children’s pool, mini golf, video games, and recreational activities.
• Activities and services are tailored to the number of children in the reservation.

6. ​​​​All‑Inclusive Plan

• Includes unlimited food and beverages at the restaurant and via room service (15 % service charge not included).

7. Parking and Additional Services

• 24‑hour parking: for cars only; motorcycles, buggies, ATVs, etc., are not permitted.

• 24‑hour room service: included in the all‑inclusive plan (15 % service charge not included).

• Extra adult/child: subject to rate and availability.

• Crib: free of charge, subject to availability.

• Early departure: unused nights are non‑refundable.

8. Beach and Ocean Notice

• The beach and ocean are federal zones; Sunset Plaza assumes no responsibility for activities or incidents.
• Beach services are complimentary and do not establish legal liability.
• Water activities are at the guest’s own risk; caution is advised.

9. Spa Policies

• Spa services are available at an additional cost and require advance reservation.
• Please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment to ensure punctuality.

10. Pet Policy

• We accept pets under certain restrictions. Please refer to our Pet Friendly Program.

11. Group Reservations

• Five or more rooms are considered a group booking.
• The hotel will coordinate deposit and cancellation terms with the guest or agency.
• Without the agreed deposit, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
